ENVIRON, a solo exhibition by Keith McMenamy, explores landscape through paintings created with the oxidation of copper and iron. McMenamy creates conditions in which chemical reactions, time, and chance shape each composition, producing organic colors, textures, and forms that evoke geological formations and imagined terrain.
The opening reception will be held in the Steinberg Reading Room at Elting Memorial Library, with light refreshments. ENVIRON will remain on view throughout September. Works in the exhibition are available for purchase.
