Edge Effect is on view September 12 through 26, 2026, at Twin Barns at The Staats House. Inspired by the ecological phenomenon known as the "edge effect," where cultivated land converges with the wild, the exhibition brings together the work of Daniele Frazier, Margot Becker, Eric Wolf, and Trenton Duerksen to examine the physical, temporal, and conceptual tensions of these environmental thresholds. Opening on the precipice of the autumnal equinox, the exhibition explores themes of vitality and decay, human intervention, and the shifting relationship between the natural and constructed worlds through video, painting, sculpture, and textile works
