This will be the first exhibition devoted to an ongoing series I began
in 2023: oil portraits of my therapist, painted without brushes,
entirely with my fingers. Working from photographs taken during our
monthly in-person sessions, I repeatedly return to the same subject,
reversing the usual direction of looking between therapist and
patient.
