Celebrate sustainability and cycling history at the Vassar Vintage Bicycle Show on Thursday, October 15, from 5 to 7 p.m. on the Alumnae House Lawn. Held with the Arlington Farmers Market, this free community event invites students, faculty, staff, and Hudson Valley residents to display pre-2001 bicycles and vote in award contests.
Visitors can get a portrait with their bike, use a hands-on repair and tune-up station staffed by experienced mechanics, and meet local advocacy groups, clubs, planners, and bike shops sharing routes, safety resources, and transportation initiatives.
