DESCRIPTION:Celebrate sustainability and cycling history at the Vassar Vintage Bicycle Show on Thursday\, October 15\, from 5 to 7 p.m. on the Alumnae House Lawn. Held with the Arlington Farmers Market\, this free community event invites students\, faculty\, staff\, and Hudson Valley residents to display pre-2001 bicycles and vote in award contests. Visitors can get a portrait with their bike\, use a hands-on repair and tune-up station staffed by experienced mechanics\, and meet local advocacy groups\, clubs\, planners\, and bike shops sharing routes\, safety resources\, and transportation initiatives. Sponsored by the Vassar Bicycle Advocacy Group and the Office of Sustainability.
