In this one-day course students are introduced to the world of natural color: earth pigments and lake pigments extracted from plants. We’ll prepare our own fabric paints with a homemade soy protein binder to apply our beautiful natural palette to fabric. We’ll also discuss the process of foraging minerals and dye plants to convert into unique local, handmade palettes.
