Join herbalist and author Dina Falconi and explore the plants of Opus 40. We’ll be meandering among the rock-sculpted landscape and woodlands of this unique place, learning to identify wild plants (including trees, and mushrooms too—if they show themselves). Using basic sensory skills, we’ll discover how these plants are used for food, medicine, and pleasure. This is a hands-on, interactive workshop. This walk will include practical information on harvest and preparation. Bring a notepad, camera, and water bottle.
Open to parrticipants ages 12 and up; however, the class is designed with an adult audience in mind.
