SWINGTIME BIG BAND Swingin’ on the Silver Screen Music Mountain’s favorite swing band returns for their 16th annual concert in Gordon Hall with a fun new program of cinematic hits from the Great American Songbook! Swingtime will shine the spotlight on the timeless melodies & meaningful lyrics introduced or featured in Hollywood movies, including special 100th birthday tributes to legendary film composer Henry Mancini and prolific big band composer/arranger Sammy Nestico. Led by Artistic Director Steve Shaiman, this dynamic 20-piece jazz ensemble will bring to life the music of Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Les Brown, Tommy Dorsey, and Woody Herman.
