Judy Kamilar's biomorphic floating, ghostlike figures are activated with outbursts of vivid color, patterns and expressive brush strokes expose oppositional forces at play between internal states and the external world. Capturing figures and landscapes of fleeting moments in flux, Kamilar's works present a chronic impermanence exploring the dance between life and mortality.
