This exhibition is an exploration of color and its influence on our lives and psyches. White, purity, a fresh snowy field, gravestones. Red, anger, power, passion, blood. Blue: authority, sadness, dependability. Black, the abyss, secrets, vast emptiness, black holes. The crayon box with 50 colors is greeted with feverish delight and an immediate search for blank paper, in youth and in memory. Colors infuse our dreams, our dreads, and our desires; our public space and our intimate ones. Join us on a journey to rediscover the impact of color.
