Join us at Frost Valley's Gallery at Forstmann Castle for a conversation with one of Shifting Terrain's exhibiting artists, Maxine Davidowitz.
The two-person exhibition "Shifting Terrain" explores landscape as something fluid and constantly changing. Davidowitz uses layering, scraping, and reconstruction to create paintings that challenge familiar ideas of landscape and perception. Her work blurs the boundaries between image, memory, and place.
She will discuss the work in the show as well as her life as a creative director turned painter.
