Rally to celebrate the 250th anniversary of American Democracy on the Walkway Over the Hudson.
Participants can enter from the Highland or Poughkeepsie side of the bridge in a peaceful nonpartisan demonstration supporting voting rights, free speech and press, diversity and inclusion, climate action, immigrant rights, affordable housing and healthcare. Participants will link hands in unity with music and singing to form a symbolic human chain demonstrating that community is stronger when people stand together. No signs please. Organized by nine Indivisible groups in the Mid-Hudson Valley.
