Poetry Reading: Danez Smith, Jamaica Heolimeleikalani Osorio, Witches & Warriors

Brew & Forge presents an afternoon of poetry and community, featuring two internationally renowned poets, plus collaborations by writers and activists from across the Northeast. Danez Smith is the author of four books of poetry, including BLUFF, a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize. Jamaica Heolimeleikalani Osorio is a Kanaka Maoli poet/scholar whose work was featured in the award-winning Sundance film THIS IS THE WAY WE RISE. This inspiring outdoor event will also showcase new work by participants in the Witches & Warriors Retreat for BIPOC poet-activists, and will be followed by a book signing. Free.
