Garrison Art Center Announces the Exhibition 'A Field Guide to Birds'

Debra Ramsay and Leslie Roberts' exhibit redefines bird taxonomy through optical, color-focused works driven by ornithological data. Ramsay's translucent compositions capture individual bird species' essence, while Roberts diagrams bird families into pattern-like formations.
Adding to the enjoyment of Debra Ramsay's work, viewers will have access to QR codes, allowing them to listen to the bird songs corresponding to each bird depicted in her art. The Galleries at Garrison Art Center are open Tuesday – Sunday, 10 am - 5 pm. The opening reception is April 13, 5 - 7 pm.
