The Dutchess County Fair dates back to 1842.
The Dutchess County Fair brings spectacle, music, and history to the Dutchess County Fairgrounds. As one of the longest-running and largest fairs in New York, it brings a full slate of events with a character of its own—4H competitions, life-sized dragon puppet shows, hyper-realistic butter sculptures, frisbee-catching dogs. Hundreds of vendors will sell food, furniture, accessories, and anything a person could dream of at the fair.
