The Kingston Artist Downhill Derby returns to Lower Broadway and Spring Street on Sunday, August 16, 2026. Registration is open now until 11 AM event day and racing begins at 1 PM in Kingston's Historic Waterfront District. Now in its 31st year, the Kingston Artist Downhill Derby brings together artists, families, nonprofits and local businesses for one of Kingston's longest-running traditions: a parade of homemade vehicles, built by hand and raced down the hill for community pride.
