WRITING AS COLLAGE Workshop with Ric Royer

Catskills-based writer/performer Ric Royer leads a FREE workshop at CURIOUS on January 18th. Participants will gather materials—magazine clippings, scraps of text, transcribed recording and images—to construct textual collages that serve as prompts or frameworks for their writing. This method not only stimulates fresh ideas and generates unique juxtapositions (sometimes via chance operation) but also helps writers reflect on their own stories from multiple perspectives, making the workshop a dynamic space for both inspiration and discovery. Registration by email required. Open to writers and artists of all disciplines. Materials provided, but participants are also encouraged to bring their own.
