Join Alaina Enslen for an immersive afternoon of mixed media fiber exploration. This hands-on workshop will focus on experimental fiber-based mixed media processes. We’ll begin by working with a rich assortment of materials, including diverse papers, upcycled clothing, and botanicals. Through guided exploration, participants will create layered works using charcoal, watercolor, thread, collage, encaustic, and cyanotype techniques. To conclude, we’ll bring our papers and cloth together into a beautifully woven book—both a finished artwork and a tactile resource to inspire future experimentation in your studio practice.
