Worship and informal tours

Once a year, the beautiful old meetinghouse on Quaker Road in Highland Mills, called “Smith Clove,” is open to the public. This year, doors will open at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, August 30, 2026. Visitors may stay for the hour of quiet Quaker worship from 11 a.m. until noon, or they may just drop by before or after worship to take a deep breath in the simple space that has been home to the principles of peace, equality and integrity for more than 200 years. Following worship, the meetinghouse will remain open for informal talk.
