Join woodworker and instructor Wayne Ford for this hands-on build of a functional woodworking workbench. Students will learn design principles and joinery techniques as they interpret a drawing. Discussion during the class will cover bench vice selection and installation, additional optional bench features, and custom sizing of the piece. The project will be constructed of 2" dimensional lumber with mortise and tenon joints and a laminated plywood and masonite top. The measurements for the bench built are 2 feet by 4 feet.
