Welding is an exciting, well-paying career. Let Ulster BOCES get you started with our introductory welding class. You will receive the necessary training and instruction in welding safety and health, as well as drawing and welding interpretation, and you will learn various welding techniques. Equipment required for class: safety glasses, appropriate welding jacket or shirt, helmet, long handle brush, chisel hammer, and two sets of welding gloves. Ulster BOCES offers a supply kit to purchase that includes a helmet, long handle brush, chisel hammer, and gloves (email [email protected] for cost).
