On Wednesday, November 11, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Vassar’s Olmsted Greenhouse hosts a drop-in tea blending event to celebrate Spice Week. Working with Vassar’s Library and Chemical Society, participants will explore the chemistry of spices by making their own loose leaf tea with greenhouse plants and more.
The greenhouse sits on the lower level behind Olmsted Hall, facing Skinner Hall of Music. Commuters can park in the South Lot and take the stairs by Skinner, while accessible parking is beside the greenhouse via Chapel Drive off Raymond Avenue. The event is free and open to the public.
