Wall Works

Wall Works is a solo show by FRANC PALAIA. It runs from May 14 - June 8, 2022. The exhibition is an installation of simulated architectural wall and floor pieces that resemble real life sized urban walls complete with photographic and painted imagery of street art, graffiti, murals, posters, signs, sgraffito from different countries and cities such as Italy, France, Cuba, Berlin and NYC. The works look convincing real but are totally fabricated from scratch using light-weight Polystyrene as their base material, so the wall fragments look very real but are completely simulated.
