For three days this October, Site Seen brings 14 contemporary artists into Market Basket Delicatessen, a working deli in the heart of Kingston, as part of O+ Festival Kingston 2026. Rather than turning the deli into a gallery, Of Paper & Plate lets the two coexist: the counter stays open, lunch gets made, customers come and go, and art enters a space already in motion. Responding to the ideas and materials of “paper” and “plate,” artists create work for a place never designed to hold art.
