A walking tour of The Point, an 1855 country estate designed by Calvert Vaux, including the main house, unused since 1963, the brick barns, and the landscape. Vaux's first solo commission after the death of his mentor, Andrew Jackson Downing, remarkably undeveloped since the Hoyt family left 63 years ago. CVPA is offering three free walking tours of this historic site in September: The 4th, 13th and 20th at 11AM--with a CVPA board member as your guide!
