Venus de Mars is a multidisciplinary artist and musician, best known as a singer-songwriting transgender rock star and leader of the glam-punk trans-band Venus de Mars & All the Pretty Horses. Carolyn Marosy (she/her) plays rock ‘n’ roll rooted in punk, blues, and folk. Her most recent EP, “Loners, Misfits and Rebels” celebrates diversity, resilience and authenticity. Her powerful wall of sound is nuanced with dynamics and melodic ear candy. Carolyn is currently performing these very personal songs penned from experience, in a solo, stripped down format.
