Let’s take a timberdoodle trek! “Timberdoodle” is a common nickname the American Woodcock! During this guided walk, led by experienced birder Spencer Crawford, we will enjoy the sunset and hope to see the Timberdoodle’s unique mating ritual and its distinct sky dance. What to expect: We will walk up to a mile on the Meadow Loop trail, which is mostly flat and includes mowed grassy paths that may be muddy. We may be stopping and standing still for long periods to observe birds. Learn more details about the trails at Siegel-Kline Kill here. What to bring: Bring binoculars and water,
