Chao, The Rose is a sprawling exploration of collage as feminist
form, strategy, and genealogy. It includes works by 50
contemporary artists, as well as several key figures from the 1960s
and ’70s, including Ruth Asawa, Francesca Woodman, Lorna Simpson, Wendy Red Star,
Rachelle Anayansi Mozman Solano, and Frida Orupabo.
