We look forward to The Strugglers’ return to our stage. The old time string band is a favorite at TCCC, dating back to 2016 when John Cohen, celebrated musician and our co-founder, brought them here for the first time. John praised their music as combining “the intensity of rural music, while delighting in the nuances that preserve the individual uniqueness of the genre. This is music that will keep your mind dancing.”
The Strugglers are Jackson Lynch - fiddle, voice, guitar, Walker Shepard - guitar, voice, fiddle, banjo, and Eli Smith - banjo, guitar, mandolin, harmonica, and pump organ.
