On Sunday, October 18th from 5-7 PM The Athens Cultural Center presents An Evening with David Amram: a world renowned composer, musician, author, conductor and collaborator without boundaries who has been cheerfully ignoring musical categories since the 1940s. His output includes jazz tunes, symphonies, operas, film scores, theater music, off-the-cuff talking blues and idiom-hopping performances where he’s likely to sing, play piano, pennywhistle and percussion.
