“Secret” LGBTQ+ History of Lee Walking Tour
As part of Lee Pride, walk Lee’s secret LGBTQ+ history together. Our free tour is going to explore stories that have always existed in Lee but were often whispered, hidden, or erased. We’ll be talking about law, art, religion, illness, courage, cruelty, and pride. Some of what you’ll hear is painful. Some of it is joyful. All of it happened right here in our little town of Lee. The tour will take 1.5-2 hours and we’ll walk less than a mile. The tour will be led by Lee researcher Joshua D. Bloom.
