Sculpting Animals workshop guides students into the realm of observational animal sculpting with water based clay. Students will be introduced to the tools and foundational techniques to sculpt an animal of their choice from reference images. This beginner friendly workshop consists of 6 consecutive sessions (once a week / 3 hours), which helps students to explore clay as a playable material and its possibilities in sculpting. It aims to tap into students' natural abilities / talents as well as to improve their observational skills over time; lastly, students are encouraged to explore imaginative solutions for modeling animal forms.
