Join us to learn how to sandcast silver! Students will melt silver with a torch in the crucible and pour it into prepared sandcast flasks. It is a careful process with amazing results! if you love perfectly-imperfect and one-of-a-kind jewelry, this is the class for you! You will also be guided in cleaning, polishing and finishing your pieces. All students receive enough silver for one ring (or similarly sized item). If students would like to make something bigger, or use more stones, we are happy to sell them to you during class. Students may bring their own silver to melt!
