Intro to Jewelry Making : Silversmithing 101

Join us in the jewelry studio for a day of silversmithing! In this 4 hour class you will learn how to use a torch to solder, melt and manipulate silver, brass and bronze. Students learn traditional metalsmithing techniques and gain familiarity with a variety of hand tools, including the flex shaft grinder, hammers, pliers, stamps, burrs and files. Every student gets to design and make their own project with all the support you need. Come with an idea, or just your own creativity and enjoy melting and fabricating with precious metals!
