Vocalist, poet, and translator, Haleh Liza Gafori will share new translations of poems by the Persian mystic and sage Rumi. Accompanied by master bansuri flautist Steve Gorn, she’ll sing dashes of the Farsi text, offering glimpses into the astonishing rhythm, rhyme, and wordplay that propels Rumi’s original poems.
