We present the American premiere of Red Silk. It's a fictionalized drama that tells the riveting story of the iconic but troubled poet, Anne Sexton, and her complex - and controversial - relationship with her two psychiatrists. (One of whom became her lover.) Hit House Creative, partnering with Beacon LitFest at Howland Cultural Center, has brought this production to life. It stars Shane Killoran, John Blesso and John Hartzell. The director, Bronwen Carson, a multi-award winner writer and director, comes to us from North Carolina. The script is by Lois Achimovich, an Australian psychiatrist and playwright.
