Set in 1930s New York City, Annie follows a spirited young orphan whose optimism remains unshaken despite a difficult start. Determined to find the parents who left her at an orphanage run by the unforgettable Miss Hannigan, Annie sets off on an adventure that ultimately leads her to billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his secretary Grace Farrell, and, of course, a lovable dog named Sandy.
