PEREGRINATION Opening Reception

VERSE Work/Shop is honored to present PEREGRINATION, the first-ever two-person exhibition of husband and wife Russell Steinert and Janis Stemmermann. Steinert and Stemmermann met over 3 decades ago in Brooklyn. While partners in life, they pursued their artistic practices in parallel. Today, they are based in Sharon, CT and for the first time share a studio in what was previously a cow barn on their property. Per the artists, Peregrination aptly describes their life’s journey; meandering through art, life and place. A journey they’ve pursued independently, simultaneously, and together. PEREGRINATION will be on view from September 25 through October 19.
