A collection of three new one-act plays about the struggle for land in the Hudson Valley in the tumultuous years between the French & Indian War and the American Revolution will be presented as a reading directed by Alice Jankell. The Alliance, which includes Arts on the Lake, the Philipstown Depot Theatre, and Tompkins Corners Cultural Center, has commissioned three award-winning playwrights to each write a piece. This first presentation is the beginning of a long-term project that will weave together all three one-acts into a single sweeping full-length play. Admission is free, with donations of any size gratefully accepted.
