Join us for a Revolutionary War-themed guided tour of our historic "Old Huguenot Burying Ground" on Friday evenings in September. Visiting various gravestones associated with soldiers, a suspected Loyalist, and witnesses to history, "Or Give Me Death" will explore the diverse stories of the revolution through the final resting places of its participants. Drawing from archival records, staff will share stories from colonial funeral practices to local raids, while showcasing to guests the evolution of gravestones in New York and what they can tell us about the traditions of the European settlers along Huguenot Street. Appropriate for all ages.
