Headstone is pleased to announce SHIPPING, Richard Bosman’s first solo exhibition with the gallery. A hallmark of the American Neo-Expressionist movement in the early 1980s, known for his psychologically intense narratives, now turns the focus to the cabin’s interior- her baggage. Bags, boxes, and boats; these are the immediate vessels of Bosman’s all-cardboard and house paint show. The exhibition's cheeky title nods to Bosman’s father as a seaman while addressing the last lingering question of any artwork transaction: SHIPPING.
