ONE LOVE Benefit Screening

Join us for a benefit screening of new film BOB MARLEY: ONE LOVE to support the restoration and renovation of the Crandell Theatre while reveling in the music and story of a reggae icon. Local writer Joshua Jelly-Schapiro, a geographer and writer whose books include 'Names of New York' and 'Nonstop Metropolis: A New York City Atlas' (with Rebecca Solnit), will open the evening with intimate stories from his experience tracing Marley's roots and legacies in Jamaica while writing his book 'Island People: The Caribbean and The World' (Knopf).
