Understand guidelines for safe and environmentally responsible foraging! Learn at least two dozen species of native edible wild plants suitable for adding to your own landscape, or nibbling on as you encounter them in other locales. Species identification keys will be provided, along with edible portions of plants, and preparation methods. This event is hosted by the Environmental Cooperative at the Vassar Barns. Please meet at the Barns (directly across from the Poughkeepsie Farm Project) on the Vassar Ecological Farm and Preserve.
