Movie Matinee with Reel Talk: Wicked Little Letters

Patterson Library’s movie selection for June is Wicked Little Letters. We are starting our movies at 12 noon and inviting those who wish to discuss the film to stay after the screening. Based on a stranger-than-fiction true story, this sharply funny mystery follows two neighbors: the prim and conservative Edith Swan and the outspoken, foul-mouthed Rose Gooding. When Edith starts receiving shocking letters filled with outrageous profanities, Rose is accused of the crime. But as the town’s women launch their own investigation, they begin to suspect there’s more to the case than meets the eye. Starring Olivia Colman, Jessie Buckley
