On Sat Sept 26 at 6PM, the David M. Hunt Library in Falls Village will host a special screening of acclaimed documentary shorts by local filmmaker Brian Gersten. A resident of Millerton, NY, Gersten blends archival research, vintage television news footage, and inventive storytelling to illuminate overlooked corners of American history. Included are personal reminiscences of bowling lanes, odd televised news events, and an ongoing border dispute between the U.S. and Canada. The four films will also be accessible through the library's VideoWall installation through the end of this year.
