On Friday, August 14, the Mid- Hudson Astronomical Association is sponsoring a star party at the West Beach of Lake Taghkanic State Park. The session will begin at 7:30 PM and last until late in the evening.
To attend, go to midhudsonastro.org and RSVP at the MHAA Meetup site with your car's make, model, and license plate number at least one day beforehand. This info is required by and sent to the State Park authorities because participants are there after park hours.
