After a brief discussion of Surrealism and the goals of its literary pioneers, the workshop will dive into a generative mode. In the spirit of Surrealism’s founders, participants will engage in Chance Operations, including automatic writing, chain poems, dream resumes, echo poems, cut-ups, collages, and Surrealist Games.
