In this adult workshop, artist and educator Kelly McGrath will walk students through the process of mold making. Each participant will leave the workshop with a cast replica of one’s hand made entirely out of wax. Bring a precious object for your wax hand to hold or make an unforgettable candle. Kelly Anne McGrath explores the figure in a variety of materials and methods. Through sculpture and paintings, she engages the viewer in a reflective visual dialogue that explores what it means to be human, fragile, and simultaneously a part of and disconnected from one’s surrounding environs.
