Acclaimed local pianist Marilyn Crispell, recently recognized by the National Endowment for the Arts as a Lifetime Jazz Master, plays a rare local concert. Crispell, a longtime member of Anthony Braxton's ensemble and resident of Woodstock since the mid 1970s, will be the last artist performing in the Olive Free Library's Piano Plus Concert series. Her program will be mostly improvised, but heavily influenced by John Coltrane and Cecil Taylor.
