“M/othering” is an exhibition of recent work by Tereza Swanda, Jayne Matricardi, Katie Roberts, Kirsten Stromberg, and Angela Rose Voulgarelis. Their bodies of work draw on their experiences of motherhood and childhood in relation to the often-complicated dynamics of family relationships, cultural identity, and positions of privilege. These themes become re-examined, brought to new light, and/or refuted through a range of materials and questions.
